What is Oil Pulling with Coconut Oil

Coconut oil pulling has been used in the Ayurvedic medicine for more than 3,000 years. The word Ayurveda comes originally from India and means "science of life" (Ayur = life, Veda = science or knowledge).

Solid Packets - What to Do?

• It is normal that unrefined, raw Coconut oil solidifies below 76 F degrees.

• If the oil in the packets should have become solid just place it in some warm water or hold in your hand for some minutes.
  
  
• If you can keep it at room temperature, and it will stay liquid.

• If the oil is not 100% liquid it can have a jelly-like consistence. Warm the packets until the content is completely liquid.

• Shipping & transportation during the winter months will cause the packets to become firm.
  We cannot do anything about it as it is the nature of the unprocessed coconut oil.
  
  

1. Use one packet daily. You can use it as part of the morning routine or before going to bed. Some people prefer to use it the first thing in the morning before brushing the teeth or drinking anything. But this is not mandatory. You can also do it as part of your evening routine.

2. Start by swishing the oil around in your mouth for 5 minutes, and gradually build up to 15-20 minutes.

3. Spit out oil into trash, and immediately rinse your mouth with warm water and brush your teeth as normal.

4. Notice how much healthier your teeth and gums already feel! Repeat the process for 14 or 28 straight days, and keep it up as a daily routine.
