Welcome to the World of Fragrances and Perfume! This world has become a Multi-Million Dollar Market and is growing yearly. It seems nothing is going to stop this trend. Despite the writings on the wall, and the warnings, and the statistics that prove that THESE SUBSTANCES ARE DANGEROUS for HUMANS.
So why are we hearing these warnings about fragrances that are part of so many different products that we can find in our local super markets? If it is in the store it is supposed to be safe, you may ask. It's like "if the doctor is prescribing this drug, it must be safe."
In fact there is nothing wrong with any scent that is derived from a NATURAL source. This article is NOT against all scents.
Fragrances are used since eons on this planet. Even the Egyptians used them. And on TV we see that they have remarkable benefits: They remove bad odors. They make us feel sexy! They keep us fresh the whole day, and cozy, and comfy, and... so on. The list of supposedly benefits is long.
But let's get back to the warnings. We took a glance behind the scenes.
WHAT ARE SYNTHETIC PERFUMES OR FRAGRANCES?
Synthetic fragrances/perfumes are high performance scents and 95% are made out of synthetic - NOT natural - materials that are chemically created mostly from petroleum (crude oil). In many cases a natural substance is taken, and its chemical structure is modified so the scent can be matched somewhat.
Natural Fragrance are Categorized in these Groups:
- Florals,
- Botanicals or Musks.
These scents fade due to lack on fixatives.
Synthetic scents can be categorized into an INFINITE number of variations. They also last much longer.
Common Ingredients Found in Synthetic Fragrances/Perfumes
Acetone, ethanol, benzaldehyde, formaldehyde, limonene, methylene chloride, camphor, ethyl acetate, linalool and benzyl alcohol.
Phthalates and synthetic musks are also commonly used and are potentially hazardous ingredients.
These Chemicals are Linked to Cause
In 2014! a committee convened by the National Academy of Sciences confirmed a federal interagency group’s conclusion that STYRENE, a chemical building block used to produce a wide variety of everyday products, can cause CANCER!
In 2019 these toxic ingredients are still on the market, and are used on a daily basis, and are not removed from the list OR must be labeled at all!
Another VERY BAD PART of these chemicals is that some are known or suspected to be endocrine disruptors.
These substances mess up the hormonal health which can cause infertility, they can trigger weight gain and even set you up for diseases that are just starting to be on the rise.
In 2016 a study was published by veteran fragrance chemical researcher Anne Steinemann, PhD, and the result was surprising and shocking the same time:
"More than 50% of the population would indeed prefer fragrance-free public spaces such as workplaces, health care facilities and other professional spaces, including, hotels and airplanes."
The Environmental Working Group (EWG) and the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics found an average of 14 chemicals in 17 name brand fragrance products. The BAD PART is none of these chemicals were in fact listed on the label.
Let's take a popular and simple scent. The Lavender scent that is derived comes from the lavender plant, and has a specific scent. But the chemical version of it can be something completely different, even it is called Lavender scent. It is created in a laboratory of the fragrance industry and they have a stock of 3100 chemical ingredients to choose from. This synthetic blend that shows up on your product label is kept under the name "Parfum or fragrance". That's it. You won't know what chemicals are used to make it.
You might have read or heard about facial toners but you are not sure what they really can do for your skin. Maybe you asked yourself if they are really a crucial part of the daily skincare.
The skin's optimal pH is 5,5 and depending on the cleanser, this value can be thrown off, and the skin can get too dry or too oily.
Facial toners are made in a way to restore the pH balance of the skin.
What we absolutely love about toners is the fact that they reduce the size of pores. Visibly your skin will look smoother and it is harder for dirt and pollution particles to enter the skin.
There are different toners available but we think a good toner should contain following natural or organic substances.
CHAMOMILE
ALOE VERA
LAVENDER
TEA TREE OIL
MSM or Methyl-Sulfonyl-Methane
In Sanskrit the word for dental health ‘dantaswasthya’ and following Ayurveda, the main point is that the nature of a cure depends upon the constitution of the person and the climatic changes.
The ayurvedic treatments where very personal ones and everyone was striving to treat imbalances of the "doshas" - the three elements that come together to create a person's over-all health.
The Oil pulling method as an Ayurvedic practice known as "Kavala or Gandusha" provides a cure for not only oral health issues but also for diseases such as , asthma, hormonal imbalances, headache, diabetes, and congestion.
Oil Pulling used as the traditional folk treatment in India is believed to prevent oral malodor, cracked lips, decay, dry throat, weakening gums and jaw, and tooth decay.
Different oils can be used per the ayurvedic method: sunflower, coconut, or sesame oil.
Some treatments like the "kavala graha and gandusha" contain gargling with sesame oil or sunflower oil. Prescribed by Ayurvedic practitioners it would be help with mouth inflammation, dryness or any other oral ailment.
The oil pulling method of today started in the 90s by Mr. Tummala Kotesware Rao of Bangalore, India. He discovered oil pulling after reading an Ukrainian academic paper which claimed that shamans through Siberia had used oil pulling for more than 100 years.
It was also in the late 90s when the Western wellness trend began. People were searching more and more for alternative methods to keep the body healthy. While sesame oil was widely used for oil pulling hence the connection to Ayurveda, a new miracle oil made its way into the West: Coconut Oil.
The cold-pressed, unrefined and unprocessed coconut oil came to light and became the most sought after and effective oil for the oil pulling method.
If tooth decay had been diagnosed by the dentist, unfortunately oil pulling cannot reverse the damaged teeth.
The good news it that oil pulling is preventing tooth decay because it is reducing the amount of harmful bacteria that are causing the teeth to decay.
In a study 30 different fatty acids had been tested for their ability to attack harmful bacteria. They had been compared and the result was astonishing:
Coconut oil with the fatty acid named lauric acid was the winner - Lauric acid combats harmful bacteria.
When you swish coconut oil in the mouth lauric acid attacks the harmful bacteria that can cause bad breath, tooth decay and gum disease.
Especially the bacteria names Streptococcus mutans which is amajor cause of tooth decay.
Here are the steps:
It's best to do oil pulling as part of your morning or evening routine. But you can do this at any time during the day.
There is no need to brush the teeth before using the oil pulling method. But if you do oil pulling after you had a meal, we recommend to brush the teeth.
In general the oil pulling practice will remove food and bacteria from the mouth. If you do oil pulling the first thing in the morning you would not brush your teeth first.
The good thing is: There's no right or wrong way to do oil pulling. You find your own way and rhythm.
]]>
Maybe you have seen that there are different oils which can be used for oil pulling:
Irish scientists from the Athlone Institute of Technology tested the effects of coconut oil, vegetable oil and olive oil on dental health. What was found is rather interesting and it is in fact scientific!
There is no doubt that all oils have certain benefits but ONLY coconut oil was shown to prevent the acid producing bacteria "Streptococcus mutans". This bacteria is very common in our mouth and it is the major cause of tooth decay.
In Short: Oil pulling works best with Coconut Oil.
If you are interested now to check out the healthy benefits of oil pulling you need to know ONE more thing:
Virgin Coconut Oil is the best choice.
Why? It is basically "raw", unheated, unprocessed and unrefined oil. Never choose expeller pressed oil, as it is heated and refined, so all important substances are removed; it's practically useless.
Important to know is also that coconut oil will solidify below 76 F or 24C degrees.
For oil pulling it is good to warm the oil before using it. If you choose the single packets, such as from Cocopull™, you hold the packet in your hands for some minutes and the oil is liquid. Jars or bottles should be placed in warm water.
If you are comfortable to let the oil melt in your mouth you can use it in the firm consistence but it will feel somewhat strange...

Find out what is the Shocking Truth About Chemicals in Skincare and Beauty Products if today in this article. We are told lies. The same lies that were told in the flourishing tobacco industry back in the 40s-60s. Now these lies are being sold by giants of the beauty industry to the consumers. Chemicals destroy your skin on the long run. [Click to Continue]

“To keep a slender figure no one can deny…Reach for a Lucky instead of a sweet.”
“You’ve come a long way baby!”
Now, flash forward to today. Magazines and commercials are filled with glamorous ads of beautiful women, independent and confident, enjoying the finer luxuries of life.
“Easy Breezy Beautiful CoverGirl...”
“Maybe she’s born with it. Maybe it’s Maybelline.”
Do these stories sound similar? The desirable woman disguise once used to sell cigarettes is now featured in every cosmetic ad. The same lies that were sold in the tobacco industry back then are now being sold by the corporate giants of the beauty industry.
This comparison goes even further. Smoking kills, on average, 1,200 Americans. Every day. Smoking causes cancer of the mouth, esophagus, larynx, lung, stomach, kidney, bladder, and pancreas. New reports have emerged of cancers and other toxic effects to the immune system after years of beauty products being laced with chemicals, heavy metals, and other hazardous ingredients.
In 1976, scientists applied topical Omega 3’s to the skin of test group, and those who received the oil on their skin actually overcame internal deficiencies of Omega 3’s! Proof that you can take in nutrients via your skin to actually improve your health.
Knowing the effects that topical beauty products can cause internally, why would you apply anything to your skin that you would not eat? This makes a good rule to use when choosing a beauty product. Or ask yourself, would you want to give this product to your child to play with?
Look for products made completely by plant oils and essential oils from flowers, barks, and spices. These have been tried and tested for thousands of years across many cultures.
Today coconut oil is most commonly used for oil pulling because of its tremendous health benefits in general. These are:
There are many oil pulling products on the market that contain a blend of oils such as sesame oil and sunflower oils. These oils are not bad as they are high in omega-6 fats, which we likely get enough of each day.
Our first choice is Organic, cold-pressed, unrefined, virgin coconut oil. Remember it is in the category of Superfoods!
a. what is causing bad breath, and
b. what you can do about it effectively!
As we mentioned in previous articles, the mouth is a place for millions of bacteria. Some are good, some are bad. Nevertheless, the teeth, gums and tongue host these bacteria that will build plaque, cause several oral diseases and last but not least, bad breath.
"Halitosis", is characterized by a very unpleasant odor in and from the mouth.
Here are some remedies that you probably have heard before but we will mention them again before we actually will let you know the ultimate bad breath remedy:
- Drink plenty of water. According to the Mayo clink dehydration is a cause for bad breath.
- Brush your teeth at least twice daily
- Use mouthwash and floss daily.
- Use a toothpaste that contains cinnamon and cloves.
- Remove retainers or dentures at night and place them in water with an anti-bacterial treatment.
- Every time when you ate something swish around with water to get the food remains out of the mouth.
- Replace your toothbrush every 2 months.
- You can get a tongue scraper and scrape the tongue to remove excess bacteria.
The Number ONE REMEDY for Bad Breath is: COCONUT OIL
All points mentioned above are valid, and you should definitely look into this, but we are interested more in a long term solution, and that is
It has proven results - Oil pulling with coconut oil reduces gum disease and bad breath on the long run. Oil Pulling comes from the Ayurvedic medicine and is known since more than 3,000 years.
DO I HAVE GUM DISEASE?
Do you know that there is a very possible chance you could have some form of gum disease and you are not even aware of it?
Dentist David Kennedy, DDS and past president of the International Association for Oral Medicine and Toxicology, made following statements:
MORE DANGEROUS?
We are not into creating fear but you have to know that studies and research have found links between
It's all about the harmful bacteria! This bacteria in plaque that builds up between the teeth and gums can enter into the bloodstream. These bacteria are very mobile and travel throughout the body. They swim blood upstream and settle in other areas of the body.
It had been found out that the plaque deposits from these bacteria from the mouth are the same types of bacteria that build plaque found in arterial walls in heart disease patients. WOW!
In short, having these bacteria in the body can actually cause serious health problems!
WHAT TO DO? HOW TO PREVENT?
1. Have a More Nutritious Diet.
This means stay away from junk food, sodas, cokes, fast food and processed food all of these foods contain too much sugar, and are fattening on top of all. This includes the over-sweetened Starbucks coffees! Get quality fats such as unrefined organic coconut oil, fresh veggies and fruit, herbal teas, and start cooking your own meals.
2. Change your Lifestyle into a More Healthy Lifestyle
It seems difficult but not impossible. To improve your immune health it is recommended to get enough sleep, address stress, and avoid lifestyle habits like too much smoking that is not very good for your oral health.
3. Improve your Oral Hygiene
This point seems to be the easiest one but there are so many products to choose from. We recommend to stay away from products that contains harsh chemicals. Tongue scrapers are helpful, and frequently brushing the teeth daily. Also using a mouthwash does a good job.
The best is to start OIL PULLING with COCONUT OIL. Why is that important?
Unrefined Organic Coconut oil contains lauric acid which has the ability to kill the harmful bacteria. Exactly those bacteria that are responsible for all the diseases listed above.

What others say about Oil Pulling with Cocopull:
"This was my first product at attempting oil pulling. I read about it in an online article and ordered it. This product exceeded my expectations. The instructions are clear and concise. The mint used is really great and not over powering. I definitely saw a difference in my teeth in gums. I have no cavities or issues with my teeth so I don't know if it actually helps with those issues but I know my dentist visit went well and I love the taste and the way my mouth felt after. I know some people only oil pull but I like to oil pull first thing in the morning and then brush my teeth. The packaging was immaculate and I also love they're individually wrapped. It made it easier to pack them and take with me on vacation.- Jasmin T.
The main difference lies in the extraction method:
After the oil is extracted, another process takes part in order to eliminate any impurities that may have occurred during extraction.
Basically there are TWO main processes but mass produced oil will go through more processes.
In general if we talk about a "Refined Oil" that does not mean it is always treated with chemicals. It can be treated with only heat or special clay to filter and purify it.
It has 3 names - let's clarify this once and forever:
There is High-Quality fractionated coconut oil that looks colorless. And there are Lower Quality oils which appear yellowish due to the moldy impurities or other colored contaminants not completely removed in the manufacturing process.
FATTY ACIDS - WHAT IS THIS ALL ABOUT?
There are three basic types of fatty acids
The basic difference to extra virgin coconut oil is that the long-chain fatty acids had been removed via hydrolysis and steam distillation from the oil.
This change alone is responsible that the oil stays liquid even below 76 degrees.
"Lauric Acid" that is a main ingredient in Extra Virgin Coconut oil is part of these long-chain fatty acids and is mostly removed in fractionated oil.
When it comes to oil pulling, this is the ingredient that the coconut oil must have as lauric acid eliminates all harmful bacteria in the mouth.
- Find more detailed INFO on the Oil Pulling Method here -
We use for our Oil Pulling product Cocopull™ ONLY Virgin Unrefined Coconut Oil. That's why it is so powerful for a healthy oral care.
Now, it's not all over when the lauric acid is gone!
There is still a lot of goodness left such as medium chain fatty acids like capric, caprylic, myristic and palmitic, all of which retain their super-moisturizing capabilities that are so important for skincare.
Still there are the important natural antioxidants which protect from environmental stress causing factors, and nutrients like vitamins A, C, and E, which help maintain a tighter, firmer look.
Fractionated Coconut Oil - Perfect Carrier Oil for Skincare
Can be combined with many other oils and essential oils. It is very light and absorbs quickly into the skin without clogging pores. That's why it is used for many beauty products.
The skin is left with a soft, smooth feeling and it won't leave a greasy film - It is one of the so called non-greasy oils.
Helps to get rid of Stretch marks - Regularly massage affected areas with the oil.

Today we are sharing with you three - 3 - favorite DIY face masks for treating blackheads. All are made with ingredients that you can find right in your kitchen!
We truly believe that everything we need for clean and happy skin can be found in the nature.
So why always looking for expensive products? Let's see how we can solve the problem of blackheads with Mother Nature's help!
Each of these face masks if made up of natural, blemish-fighting ingredients, providing you with a safe and effective way to get rid of blackheads and other pesky blemishes you may have. They are an excellent alternative to the frequently chemical-filled store bought masks, and are easy and cheap to make!
Both blackheads and whiteheads are clogged pores but differ in regard to whether the surface of the pore is open or closed.
BLACKHEADS
have an open pore at the surface. It appears black due to dead skin cells, bacteria and oil in the pore coming into contact with the air.
WHITEHEADS
have a closed pore at the surface and appears white because it does not yet contact with the air.
Fortunately for us, many of the ingredients in three masks that you learn to make today, have properties that fight all kinds of breakouts.
BENEFITS
We all know that avocados are delish. For the same reasons they are so healthy and good for us to eat, they are excellent for the skin as well. Avocados are rich in vitamins E and K as well as omega-3 fatty acids, so they are very moisturizing and softening to the skin without clogging pores. Vitamin E specifically helps fight bacteria responsible for infections and inflammations of the skin. Vitamins A and C in avocados contribute to the free radical fighting property of the fruit. Bonus: these vitamins all work to repair damage and scarring to the skin.
Raw honey is a magical food for so many reasons. In this face mask, it happens to be our secret ingredient for tackling blackheads. Honey is anti-bacterial, making it excellent for fighting any and all breakouts. Honey also has anti-oxidants, known for slowing down the aging of the skin, and is moisturizing like the avocado.
Aside from its moisturizing properties, olive oil is rich in antioxidants, including Vitamin E. It also contains hydroxytyrosol, which aids in preventing free radical damage. Olive oil penetrates deeply into the skin without clogging pores.
INGREDIENTS
This amount will make enough for 4-5 masks and can last in the fridge for about 3 days. Measurements can, of course, be cut down should you wish to make less.
Here's how it looks
Not very attractive... but it works.Leave this mask on for about 15 minutes. The honey and olive oil make it feel a little slimy, but will do the moisturizing part for sure.
Wash off easily with warm water and face cloth. We recommend using a face cloth, as the honey can stick a bit and can be a little more difficult to get off.
This mask leaves your skin feeling super moisturized and clean. Nothing like the dry, stripped feeling of washing off a store bought a mask!
BENEFITS
Coconut Oil has numerous benefits for the skin, specifically for treating breakouts and acne. Coconut oil is famous for its antimicrobial and antibacterial properties - the perfect recipe for fighting blemishes on the face. The Vitamin E. in the oil ensures the proper functioning of the sebum glands and clears pore blockages. Coconut oil is also anti-inflammatory, should you have any existing irritations of breakouts on your skin.
Oats have been used dating back to the ancient Egyptians for their beautifying benefits. Oatmeal absorbs excess oil on the skin, preventing the clogging of pores. It also helps wash away impurities on the face that lead to blackheads and breakouts. Like coconut oil, it contains antimicrobial agents and antioxidants. Oatmeal also acts as an exfoliant, brushing away dead surface skin cells, a great way to rid yourself of blackheads.
INGREDIENTS
This mask feels sticky and oily, but you can feel your skin soaking up all the goodness! Leave this mask on for about 15 minutes, and then wash it off with warm water and a face cloth. The exfoliation combined with the moisturizing of the coconut oil and honey leaves your skin baby soft, and you know the ingredients did their job on your blemishes!
BENEFITS
Lemon works like a natural astringent, reducing the oil on the face and helping to dry out acne and breakouts. It also functions as an antiseptic on the skin, killing bacteria that causes blemishes. The citric acid in lemon also works as an a natural exfoliant.
Baking Soda works to neutralize pH imbalances on the skin, a common cause of acne. Like lemon juice, it also helps to dry the skin by removing excess oil, and shares it's antiseptic properties. The combination of baking soda and lemon juice masks a gritty paste, acting as an exfoliant in addition to a face mask!
INGREDIENTS
This mask doesn't look like much on, and you can soon start to feel it harden a bit on the skin. Leave it on for 10-15 minutes. Of all 3 masks, this one will definitely leave your skin feeling the softest.
The fineness of the granules of baking soda really makes you feel how deeply it cleanses the pores of all impurities.
Hopefully you all enjoyed this post! We strongly suggest trying out these DIY face masks if you want to treat your blackheads naturally and see some real results.
If this process goes on too long, the result will be plaque. There is nothing nice about plaque. It is an extremely sticky, colorless to pale yellow deposit of bio-film that regularly forms on your teeth.
TOOTH ENAMEL ATTACK
That nest of bacteria, this is in fact what plaque really is, contains unfriendly bacteria, which produce acids that attack your tooth enamel and can damage your gums. If not treated, the damage can get severe.
IF NOT REMOVED...
Plaque contains millions of bacteria that feed on the food and drinks you eat every day. If bacteria deposits from plaque on teeth aren’t removed through regular brushing and flossing, they can cause
It is being said that you cannot completely evict bacteria from your mouth (some of the bacteria are actually good for you), but you can avoid plaque buildup with some important treatment that we will feature below.
Gingivitis is inflammation of the gums around the teeth. When do you know you have this inflammation? Many other sources online recommend to
STILL PLAQUE IS A PROBLEM? HAVE YOU USED ALL THE ABOVE?
Remember, as mentioned earlier, preventing plaque is keeping the harmful bacteria away.
Let's look at the most EFFICIENT Plaque Treatment NOW:
It is OIL PULLING with UNREFINED VIRGIN COCONUT OIL
Maybe you have heard about oil pulling, maybe not. But Coconut Oil Pulling is used since centuries and was originated in the Ayurvedic medicine as a treatment for a healthy oral care
So Oil pulling is not a really brand new method to prevent tooth decay, gum disease and plaque and tartar building.
WHAT IS OIL PULLING?
It is basically swishing good unrefined organic coconut oil through your teeth and mouth for quite some time, starting from 5 up to 20 minutes and this daily.
You can think of it as an OILY MOUTHWASH but with far more powerful benefits!
The modern adaptation of oil pulling in Western nations such as the USA, has just began in the last 5 years. Now you may ask,
Why is this Simple Method of Coconut Oil Pulling so POWERFUL?
As we mentioned earlier, the mouth is a good place for many bacteria. One of them is the so called "Streptococcus Mutans" which is the one bacteria causing gum diseases followed by tooth decay.
Unrefined Virgin coconut oil (not other oils!) contain "lauric acid" which kills the harmful bacteria but nothing else.
So it is able to diminish the quantity of Streptococcus Mutans in the mouth tremendously.
RESULT:
A statistically significant DECREASE in the plaque and gingivitis symptomes was noticed from DAY 7 and the scores continued to decrease during the period of the study.
This is what we call A SUCCESSFUL TREATMENT!
1. You can use Cocopull™, the leading manufacturer for oil pulling by using the convenient Cocopull packets (virgin organic unrefined coconut oil and organic peppermint oil) - 1 packet daily.
If you like you also can use 1 table spoon of liquid coconut oil.
2. Swish the oil slowly in your mouth for at least 5-10 minutes at the beginning, then increase to 15-20 minutes. Make sure to swish the oil at least for 10 minutes. The oil should reach every part in your mouth.
3. When done spit out in trash. Never swallow or gargle the oil! It is not intended to digest.
It is normal that the oil will become very thin and foamy when you swish with it.
4. Rinse your mouth with water.
5. Brush your teeth as usual with a fluoride free toothpaste.
1. Easy On The Hot Water
Using warm water is recommended during shampoo and conditioning to open up the hair’s cuticles. This allows the shampoos to remove any dirt, oils, or build-up from your hair, and for the conditioner to penetrate the hair cuticle to moisturize your locks.
However, water that is too hot will have a damaging effect on the hair. When the water is too hot, it allows too much moisture to escape from the hair shaft. This leads to dry, frizzy, hair that is easy to break. (Hint: if you are already susceptible to frizz, you might want to turn down the hot water.)
Yuck.
2. A Cold-Water Rinse Is A Must
And because a cold water rinse locks in the moisture, your hair is less prone to frizz. Your hair remains healthier and stronger over time, allowing natural and uninterrupted hair growth.
Rule of thumb: More moisture = less frizz
3. No Poo?
A relatively new concept, the "no poo” method has seen increased popularity as of late.
For a good reason.
Shampoos are a detergent. Sure they are great at cleaning your hair, but in the process they strip the hair of it’s natural oil, Sebum. Sebum is essential to keep the hair conditioned and healthy. Over time we strip the sebum from the hair, it causes the body to overproduce more sebum to compensate for what was lost. This leads to excess oil build-up on the hair and scalp.
Using the "no poo method”, shampoo is substituted for alternatives such as baking soda and apple cider vinegar. Together, these naturally balance the hairs PH and retrain the hair to go back to producing its natural level of sebum.
4. Or Shampoo Every Other Day
A long misconception has has been that you must wash your hair daily. And while shampoo is important for cleansing the hair and scalp, they strips hair of its natural oils. Over time, this causes hair to become frail and break off. A major roadblock in fast hair growth.
Instead, skip a day or two between shampooing. During non-shampoo days, just rinse and put a conditioner such as coconut oil in your hair to keep it moisturized and healthy in-between shampoos. This will ensure hair continues to grow healthy and strong.
5. Only Brush Wet Hair With Wide Tooth Comb
How many times have you been in a hurry and quickly brushed your hair directly after stepping outside of the shower?
Not good.
Soaking wet hair is fragile and more prone to breakage. And brushing while hair is wet is one of the most damaging actions you can do to your hair.
If you really must brush your hair when it’s wet, use a wide tooth comb. Since the comb is wide, they are less likely cause hair breakage when combing, especially to curly and tangled hair.
6. Use a Microfiber Towel. (Seriously, It Makes a Difference)
Rubbing your hair with a cotton bath towel after creates friction that damages the cuticles, leading to frizz and breakage.
Enter a microfiber towel.
Because of he microfiber towel lisse crepe fabric, the amount of frizz the towel generates on the hair is greatly reduced, meaning no more mornings of looking like you put your finger in a light socket. It also absorbs moisturize much fast, so when it comes time to combing and blow drying your less likely to be damaged by breakage.
7. Switch Around Your Ponytail Placement
Tight ponytails maybe give you a cute look, but they also can damage hair when used over a long period of time. The hair near the front of the scalp become damaged to the pulling from a ponytail, and over time begin to fall out. If you always wear the ponytail in the same spot on your head, you put yourself at risk to permanent damaged in the spot the hair is being pulled.
However, mixing up the location of the ponytail (high, low, side), keeps the same spot on the scalp from being constantly pulled. This should allow the hair to continue to grow strong and healthy.
8. Eat and Drink With Your Locks in Mind
Fast hair growth starts from a healthy diet. Foods rich Vitamins and proteins are the building blocks of hair, so target foods such as fish(omega-3 and vitamin D), eggs (iron), spinach, folate, beta carotene, iron), chicken (protein) that are abundant in these.
Also, it’s important to drive plenty of water. If your hair (and body) are lacking proper hydration levels, your hair will eventually become dry, weak, and stop growing.
9. Get Moving With Some Exercise
Exercise reduces stress and gives relaxation from all our anxiety and tensions which are the primary reason for hair loss. Exercises such as yoga and running increase circulation and blood flow to the scalp, decreasing the onset of grey hair.
Try this: Headstands have been shown to increase blood flow to scalp, with many claiming that they have seen an increase in hair growth directly related to a daily headstand.
10. Silky Pillowcases?
Out of all the items on the list, this might be the one you least expected.
Let’s take a look at why you should leave your cotton pillowcase and choose one made out of silk.
Ever wonder why you wake up with tangled hair each morning? Compared to cotton, your hair glides on silk rather than rubbing, which means you generate less friction at night.
Less friction equals less brittle hair.
11. Use an Oil or Hair Mask Treatment
Adding essential oil and other organic oils to your hair naturally stimulate hair follicles and promote hair growth. Rosemary oil has been used in Mediterranean countries for centuries to delay aging of hair loss and stimulate new hair growth.
Try an Avocado Oil Hair Mask with Coconut & Rosemary Oils to repair the scalp and foster fast, healthy hair growth.
What if there would be a simple way you could get the following: Brighter, Whiter Teeth - Bad Breath Prevention - Hangover Relief - Skin Improvements. It is possible with Coconut Oil Pulling - the latest and most natural solution for healthy oral care. Find out what exactly it is and if you should start to use it.
]]>
Coconut Oil pulling is not brand new. It has been used in the Indian Ayurvedic medicine for nearly 3,000 years.
The method is simple but effective. It works by pulling the toxins out of the gums. These toxins are a major cause of plaque, bad breath, and other body stressing items.
The mouth is a direct gateway to the rest of the body, and research has shown the link between gum inflammation and other harmful body conditions such as heart disease and a weakened immune system.
Coconut oil has one very important ingredient which is lauric acid, and this can eliminate very Harmful Microorganisms. The 12-carbon lauric acid makes up about 50 percent of the fatty acids in coconut oil. When lauric acid is digested, it also forms a substance called monolaurin. Both lauric acid and monolaurin can eliminate harmful pathogens like bacteria, viruses and fungi.
Do you want to get all these benefits from Coconut Oil?
In 2014 we have done exessive research and came up with THE solution for oil pulling: COCOPULL™ - a 14 Day Coconut Oil Pulling Detox Kit.
Each box comes with a supply of 14 individual coconut oil packets. These packets are perfect to take on the go, for traveling and for general convenience.
Each packet includes organic peppermint oil for a refreshing flavor.

Do any of the thoughts and situations below sound familiar to you?
If you have answered yes to any of these thoughts and situations, let us tell you, you are not alone.
Dry and dehydrated skins have similar characteristics, but different underlying causes.
We will show you how to identify whether you have dry or dehydrated skin, as well as the Do's and Dont's for each.
It’s also common to have dry skin and dehydrated skin at the same time. If by judging from above you are able to determine you have dehydrated skin, here’s another test to confirm your claim:
Part 1:
Do the Pinch test - Pinch the skin on your cheek to get a close-up view of the surface of your skin. If you’re able to notice fine lines (not aging wrinkles) on the surface level, the issue could be dehydration.
Part 2:
Do the Smile Test - Flash a beaming smile from ear to ear. As you release your smile, you’ll want to check two places for any remaining fine lines:
If fine lines remain in either case, dehydration may be the issue and your skin could use more water.
When your skin is hydrated, it keeps the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles at bay. Besides appearing younger, you will have a smooth and plump complexion.
Think of a juicy grape versus a wrinkly raisin – I bet you’re leaning towards that juicy grape...
Remember: Dry skin lacks oil, Dehydrated skin lacks water.
FAQ
I am using oils but my skin is still dry. What to do?
The reason is because you aren't adding moisture to the equation. To solve this problem, apply the oil onto damp skin (from water or floral water toner). This will create a layer of moisture that the oil will block from escaping the skin.
Or use the the Aviva Pure SKIN MAGIC FACE CREAM for an instant hydration booster ...
FAQ
Can I have oily and dehydrated skin at the same time?
Yes, in fact, your oily skin could be because it’s overproducing oil to compensate for the lack of moisture in your skin. Regardless of the surface, the skin underneath is not hydrated.
It is part of some of the Aviva Pure products and is domestically produced, food grade, certified organic grain alcohol (Ethanol), natural essential oils, and pure plant extracts to maintain the life of time-challenged products. Such as creams, hair care products and toner.
What about Yeast, Bacteria and Molds?
You must know that Bacteria, yeasts, and molds do not grow in an ethanol concentration of approximately 15-20% or greater.
Alcohol also serves as a natural emulsifier, preservative, and carrier, helping ingredients in their delivery. Alcohol, derived from the fermentation of starch, sugar, and other carbohydrates, can also be used to extract and preserve Botanicals, not just finished bases. And, unlike the isopropyl alcohol that you find in your first aid kit, ethanol alcohol is not drying to the skin when it is part of a moisturizing base.
Certified organic alcohol, also known as ethanol (not to be confused with isopropyl, or rubbing alcohol), is said to be able to extract more phyto-chemicals than other substances used for extraction, such as glycerin, propylene glycol or water.
Alcohol is also an effective emulsifier and carrier, helping ingredients penetrate the skin.
So it is not quite true that skin care products that use alcohol have the tendency to dry the skin.
For example the Skin Magic Cream is formulated with soothing organic aloe juice, organic coconut oil, and emollient organic jojoba oil and many other ingredients your skin will love, like organic willow bark extract and organic neem oil.
The skin and body cream is preserved with organic alcohol extracts of rooibos leaf and pomegranate seed, plus a good amount of moisturizing ingredients. So the cream will never dry out the skin!
Skin Magic Cream is even pleasant on sensitive skin.
If you place alcohol in a 100% concentration onto the skin, it will dry the skin and it is also harmful. If you do this repeatedly over some time your skin will suffer from it.
Back to the question if it is true or not: You must keep in mind that there is a huge difference when alcohol is applied directly to the skin or the alcohol is in a product that consists mainly of moisturizing oils, butters, glycerin and juices in which alcohol is only one component.
For example: Imagine having two shots of Vodka on an empty stomach. How would you feel? Now imagine to take hose two shots of Vodka diluted into two pint glasses of orange juice and drunk on a full stomach.
It is a different experience. Like splashing raw alcohol on the face versus applying a luxurious moisturizing cream preserved with alcohol extracts to it.
The effects are different. Health care workers reported about the drying effects of alcohol because the hand cleaning substances they use are containing far too much alcohol to make sure that a thorough sanitation will happen. A alcohol based hand rub solution applied several times on the skin for weeks, months and years will effect the skin badly for sure.
The complaints were about unacceptable skin irritation caused by alcohol-based hand rubs. In spite of the complaint, when the irritant effect of alcohol on the skin has been evaluated, most authors found low toxicity (Boyce et al., 2000; de Haan et al., 1996; Lübbe et al., 2001; Winnefeld et al., 2000).
So the skin irritation of healthcare workers is not simply caused by alcohol antisepsis. It is a combined damage resulting from the usage of alcohol detergents that remove important lipids from the skin layer, the stratum corneum. And the skin becoming over-hydrated from wearing gloves. To reduce the adverse effects of alcohol-based hand rubs, it is shown that adding emollients or humectants is efficacious (Many studies are reviewed in Boyce & Pittet, 2002).
There is no doubt, Skin care products must be preserved because microbial growth in beauty products needs to be prevented. Contamination needs to be avoided.
You might want to purchase products that are completely without preservatives but you cannot keep them longer than a couple of weeks.
There are countless reports of lotions and creams that are causing contact dermatitis, rashes, and worse because they are not preserved.
If you make a product with water, a preservative is needed. Different Preservative options for example parabens, have contraindications in products such as not being able to work with different types of ingredients. So the Aviva Pure beauty products will not contain parabens as it is too tricky to make it work.
In short, whatever bad press organic alcohol may have received, we still feel it is the safest and most effective natural preservative for the products that we love.
What about Other Beauty Brands
Lets look at the popular brand Dr. Hauschka. They use organic alcohol in their Skin Care products. Or Amala skincare has alcohol in the ingredient list. And so do many brands.
Our alcohol is made by fermenting organic grains with yeast followed by distillation—the same process used for making alcoholic beverages. The alcohol is denatured using pure essential oils.
Have you ever wondered what the hype is behind the latest organic hair mask trend? Learn in this article about Organic hair masks, or deep conditioning treatments. How simple they are and how natural.
]]>
Organic hair masks, or deep conditioning treatments, are a simple, natural way to boost your hair's health and shine in a matter of minutes.
There are numerous hair mask benefits, but we will start by showing you the three main reasons to start using organic hair masks.
Blow dryers, coloring, products, sun. The fact is we abuse our locks on a daily basis. It's critical that we put moisture back into our hair. Unlike your typical conditioner that stays on the surface of the strand, hair masks benefit the hair by penetrating deep into your hair cuticles to help heal them more completely and lock in moisture.
Applying hair masks on a weekly basis improves the quality and strength of your hair and leaves a long lasting conditioning effect.
Before you can expect fabulous hair, it's important to realize that healthy hair stems from a healthy scalp.
An unhealthy scalp can lead to skin conditions such as psoriasis and dandruff that result in hair loss and make it difficult for hair to grow. Hair masks that use organic oils with strong anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties prevent and correct scalp issues while simultaneously strengthening each strand of your hair.
Look for hair masks with organic oils such as coconut oil and avocado oil, each with a high fatty acid contents known for their anti-fungal properties. The benefits organic hair masks provide for the scalp help set the foundation for healthy locks of hair.
Of all the things standing in the way of perfect hair, hair loss would be enemy number one. According to beauty experts, the average person loses 100 strands of hair per day. Anything beyond this is considered severe hair loss.
Organic hair masks help to restore natural oils in the hair and scalp, helping to prevent hair loss. Oils rich in fatty acids and Vitamin A & E help to foster ideal hair and scalp conditioning, thereby bring hair loss to a minimum. Mediterranean countries have used Rosemary oil for centuries to slow down premature hair loss.
As little as 30 minutes a week is all it takes to receive maximum hair mask benefits. This is a great time to relax and enjoy yourself while leaving yourself with strong, beautiful hair.

Before taking a shower, use a dry brush to exfoliate and stimulate blood flow. In a circular motion brush lightly on any body problem areas, or all over your body to reap the full benefits of dry brushing.
In the shower apply your scrub to areas with cellulite. Wet the skin a little bit before massaging the scrub onto skin in a circular motion. Then rinse thoroughly.
More Coffee Scrub Beneficial Effects
Detoxifying Effect
It is no longer news that coffee is rich in antioxidants such as polyphenols, which help in reducing aging process caused by DNA damage. The presence of the antioxidants in coffee also helps to eliminate impurities on the skin, thereby increasing blood flow.
Relaxation
Do you sometimes feel like jetting off to the next city for a weekend getaway, just relax and ease of the accumulated stress of a few months or weeks? Well, you can treat yourself to such amazing therapy without breaking the bank. Simply go for a cool brand of coffee scrub and you can transform the comfort of your home into an exciting body spa. Just the smell of coffee alone works as a reliable anti-depressant.
Smooths the Skin
A good brand of coffee scrub helps increase collagen production within the skin, which translates into improving skin conditions and a glowing look. To reap the full benefits of coffee scrub, apply in circular motion to the areas with cellulite and massage the scrub onto the skin evenly while in the shower. Repeat always before shower.
Brightens Skin
Treating cellulite also requires brightening the skin to conveniently get rid of every trace of cellulite prior to treatment. What better way to do this than with a coffee scrub? So, while you are treating the cellulite with a coffee scrub, you are equally brightening your complexion for a healthy skin grooming.

1. Don’t Rinse Off with Water.
2. Use a cotton pad that is soft and absorbing.
Just because the Micellar water evenly breaks up the makeup on your face doesn’t mean you do not need something to get it off your face. For effective cleansing use a circular cotton pad. It gently takes off all make up or dust.
3. If you use the micellar water spray use a cotton pad to wipe it off.
The beauty of Micellar water, especially the Aviva Pure Natural Micellar Cleansing Water is, that it has ZERO chemical contents. It makes a super-gentle cleansing method that will not irritate the skin during the cleansing process.
Use Micellar Water to Remove your Makeup
It's not recommended to sleep with makeup on the face. That would be a classical "skincare scandal" indeed. Why?
Makeup long enough on the skin will for sure clog the pores. This will cause pimples, bad skin tone and inflammation because it accumulates bacteria on the skin.
RULE NUMBER 1:
Always remove the makeup and even if you don't wear makeup, clean your face and decollete before going to bed. The best is to use natural micellar cleansing water as part of your daily routine.
Use after your work-out
If you are running short in time but you want to look good, use the natural micellar cleansing water after your workout. It removes all the sweat from your face, and is better than water!
Your skin will feel refreshed and it makes a big difference.

1. Use 1 cinnamon stick and dip it into some liquid coconut oil. The cinnamon stick should just be moistened a little. Apply the stick gently to the lips. It will feel as if the lips are burning but the oil is soothing this sensation.
2. Use an empty spice jar (rinsed and dried very well) and fill it with some coconut oil (or similiar oil) and cinnamon sticks. Close tight.
Let sit for at least 1 week. Use the oil on your lips. If the stinging effect is gone, replace the stick.
3. Use a very clean and dry dark colored bottle and mix 4 tbsp of coconut oil with 4 to 6 drops of food grade, organic cinnamon oil. Optional: Add some drops of Vitamin E oil which is a natural preservative (will increase the shelf life).
Massage this oil mix slightly on your lips for a fuller look. Using cinnamon oil is causing an increased burning sensation.
4. Mix 1 tbsp of very soft cocoa butter with 1 tsp coconut oil and some drops of food grade cinnamon oil in a small glass container. If cocoa butter is not soft melt it in the micro wave or use double-boiler method. Use the cinnamon oil sparingly; keep in mind that too much will burn the lips!
5. Make your own lip scrub. It will exfoliate and plump your lips at the same time.
Combine 1 tbsp of coconut oil, 1 tsp ground cinnamon and 1 tbsp white sugar in a small bowl. Mix well. Gently massage onto lips for 5 to 10 min. This will help stimulate blood flow and make your lips appear fuller.
If you are not into DIY use an already made product like the the Aviva Organic Sugar Lip Scrub which contains only organic ingredients.
Have you ever had a time when you really needed your nails to grow fast? Maybe you chipped a nail, or you need them longer so you can get a cute manicure for this weekend's event. We featured in this article some Little-Known Home Remedies For Faster Nail Growth the natural way. No chemicals. No suffering!
]]>
You may be wondering how this is possible if nails only grow an average of 1/10 of an inch each month?
We found a few home remedies that are all natural, requiring no chemicals or harsh treatments. Here they are:
Olive Oil is a miracle worker when it comes to nail care. Rich in Vitamin E & K, these two vitamins improve the texture and strengthen the nails to avoid cracking and splitting. Olive oil is also excellent at keeping your nails moisturized. And moisturizing your nails is crucial when it comes to nail growth. Start by warming the Olive Oil, and then soaking your nails for 15-20 minutes once daily.
Cuticle infections and nail fungus are primary causes for the lack of nail growth. Coconut oil is packed with fatty acids known for their anti-fungal and anti-microbial properties. On top of that, Coconut oil contains the important vitamins E & K. As we already know, these are essential vitamins for nails to strengthening and growth.
Simply massage your nails before bed with coconut oil and notice the difference just within some days.
Have you ever suffered from yellow nails? The most common cause of yellow nails is using nail polish over an extended period of time. So, how can lemons clear up yellow nails? It is very simple and so naturally! By soaking your nails in freshly squeezed lemon juice, the lemon juices works as a natural bleaching agent.
Directions: Continue soaking for 5 minutes daily until the yellow has disappeared.
Nails consist mainly of a protein called keratin. Vitamins are an important role in the production of keratin. By adding more of protein and vitamins in your daily diet, it will lead fast increase in the growth of your nails. Look for proteins and vitamins from the following foods:
Protein: Lean poultry, fish, beef pork and eggs
Vitamin A: Carrots, sweet potato, tomato, spinach and other green leafy vegetables
Vitamin B: bell pepper, legumes, milk, cheese, egg, fish, and meat
Vitamin C Lemon, orange, tomato, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, and asparagus.
Vitamin E: Green leafy vegetables, almond, sunflower seed, and peanuts
Vitamin K: Green leafy vegetables, beet, cucumber, and peas.
Using the DIY home remedies above, you can have fast nail growth without spending hundreds of dollars on expensive nail treatments.
What is your favorite nail remedy? We love to learn from you.
Pure Jojoba Oil has been proven to be a great oil for nails and cuticles - The best is from Aviva Pure! ]]>If it would be easy not so many people would suffer from it. There are many mouthwashes available that are trying to solve the issue. Of course you can get plaque removal every 6 months or, depending on the plaque building, even every 3 months.
But the most important point is the reduction of oral bacteria in the mouth that is causing plaque building.
Regular methods are scaling, root planing, curettage, mouth washes containing chlorhexidine or hydrogen peroxide, and flossing. Interdental brushes also help remove any causative agents.
While doing the research for this subject we found out that coconut oil is hardly ever mentioned as a treatment.
Surprised?
Some call Coconut Oil Pulling a myth. Some call it not proven scientifically and some say, YES it works. We think that "How coconut oil pulling removes tartar and plaque on teeth" is NOT a myth, it is possible and has PROVEN results.
Oil pulling is in fact not a new method to keep up a healthy oral care. It is known and used in the Indian Ayurvedic medicine since centuries.
Ayurvedic medicine or abbreviated Ayurveda is one of the world's oldest holistic (whole-body) healing methods. It was developed more than 3,000 years ago in India. It's based on the belief that health and wellness depend on a delicate balance between the mind, body, and spirit. It contains concepts about herbal compounds, special diets and other health practices such as oil pulling, that are vital to maintain a holistic health.
So OIL PULLING, per the Ayurvedic medicine, is basically swishing coconut oil through your teeth and mouth for several minutes with organic unrefined virgin coconut oil and, for a great taste, it can be combined with Peppermint Oil.
You can think of it as an oily mouthwash but with far more powerful benefits!
The modern adaptation of oil pulling in Western nations such as the USA, has just began in the last 5-6 years.
Why is this Simple Method of Coconut Oil Pulling so Powerful?
Why is Coconut Oil Pulling Removing Tartar and Plaque?
The mouth is a place for many bacteria. One of them is the so called "Streptococcus Mutans" which is responsible for tooth decay and gum diseases.
Oil Pulling with coconut oil (not other oils!) is able to diminish the quantity of Streptococcus Mutans in the mouth.
You have to know that these bacteria create a “biofilm” on the teeth which becomes after some time plaque. And later on this is causing tooth decay and gum disease if not removed from the teeth regularly.
We are glad that oil pulling can help and it is more inexpensive than deep cleaning the the teeth.
Results:
A statistically significant DECREASE in the plaque and gingival indices was noticed from day 7 and the scores continued to decrease during the period of the study.
1. If you use Cocopull™ packets (virgin organic unrefined coconut oil and organic peppermint oil) you use one packet daily.
Or use 1 table spoon of liquid coconut oil.
2. Swish the oil slowly in your mouth for at least 5-10 minutes at the beginning, then increase to 20 minutes. Make sure to swish it at least for 10 minutes. The oil should reach every part in your mouth.
3. Never swallow the oil! It is not intended to eat! When done swishing spit it out into trash. The oil becomes very thin and foamy when you swish.
4. Rinse your mouth with water.
5. Brush your teeth as usual.

So before you are going to get the coconut oil from your favorite store that you wanted to buy since a while, find out yourself if this is the right beauty product for you.
For a great people coconut oil does a good job for the hair. This is proven and can be said without reservations. It has been reported to us that the oil had immediate results in the appearance of the hair, the softness and shininess. But not everyone was happy, and we don't make a secret out of that. So it can be said that coconut oil has mixed results.
Not all hair responds the same way.
If you hair lacks protein, coconut oil is great as it helps to retain the natural protein of the hair.
Fine - Medium Shiny Hair: You can expect good results cause it makes the hair stronger, creates more volume and shine.
Coarse - Dry Hair: It may be that there is no lack of protein and this leads to more brittle hair and even hair loss. Such hair needs Argan oil.
If you are allergic to coconut of course we would never recommend to use coconut oil. It does not matter how good the quality is!
Coconut oil works well in small amounts. There should be just a light coat on the hair which, in many cases, tames the frizz and adds shine to the hair without overwhelming it.
USAGE
Rub a small amount of coconut oil in your hands. If it is firm, allow some time so it is melting. If it is liquid (as our oil) there is no reason to wait. Work the oil through your hair gently. Leave it in for a short time first, if necessary raise the time or leave over night. Then shampoo hair thoroughly.
Our hair masks contain coconut oil. One is a combination with Argan oil, the other one is with avocado oil. - Check out the coconut Argan oil hair mask -
Coconut oil is great to be combine with other oils. When combined with other oils and ingredients the effect of coconut oil itself will be different.
If it is combined with Argan oil - like in our hair mask - or olive oil, it wont dry out the hair or make it brittle.
Another beneficial ingredient is honey as the sugar of honey will nourish hair and tame the frizz.

The Natural Teeth Whitening Method
Forget about the chemical tooth whitening strips or any other methods that supposedly will whiten the teeth. Using coconut oil is so easy:
1. Take 1 teaspoon of the oil or one Cocopull packet.
2. Place the oil in your mouth. If you use thick oil, wait until it is liquid. Cocopull oil is already liquid and has a refreshing peppermint flavor.
3. Start swishing the oil in your mouth, starting with 5-10 minutes, then increase up to 20 minutes. Swish it around in the whole mouth so gums and teeth will be touched.
4. Spit oil into trash.
5. Rinse mouth with warm water and brush teeth as regular.
Don't gargle or swallow the oil!
Fights Bacteria that Cause Tooth Decay
Of all suggested oils, Coconut oil is the preferred oil as it contains lauric acid which is in 50% of the fat. Bacteria don't like lauric acid because it has an anti-microbial effect. Especially it inhibits Strep mutans, the bacteria that is causing tooth decay. How many bacteria, do you think are on our mouth?
In a clean mouth are between 1,000 and 100,000 bacteria on each tooth. This makes millions of bacteria all in all.
So this is a great effect that coconut oil has. It should not be surprising that more and more people love all the benefits and are looking for a convenient coconut oil that they can use.
Detoxification Effect
The germs in the body can cause inflammation which can lead to diseases. The entry point of the body for such contamination is our mouth. Therefore, by eliminating the toxins at the source (in the mouth) before they have the opportunity to spread, it creates a general impact on the whole body as the detoxification starts in the mouth.
Reducing Plaque And Gum Disease
Gum disease or "gingivitis" is caused by an inflammation of the gums. Healthy gums are not only cosmetically important.
If your gums are inflamed for a long time or chronically, the risk is increasing to lose teeth.
Gingivitis is triggered when the immune system begins to attack the bacteria that are present in the moth and in dental plaques. It is hard to avoid plaque the normal way unless with regular teeth cleaning.
In a very interesting source we found a very understandable explanation what exactly happens to the bacteria when using oil pulling :
...As the oil hits the teeth and gums, the microbes are picked up as though a powerful magnet is at work. Even hiding bacteria under crevices in the gums and in pores and tubules within the teeth, will be are sucked out of their hiding places and held firmly in the solution... (Source)
A simple mouthwash will not do this. Neither a tooth paste. But Oil pulling does!
Protects the Heart and the Body
Interestingly, a good oral hygiene has been linked to a healthier heart! Research has shown that a healthy mouth can be linked to the health of the entire body. For example cavities in the teeth can cause the risk of developing heart diseases. And it does not stop with heart diseases!
Dementia, diabetes, arthritis, and premature birth are linked to a poor oral care. This might be why the Ayurvedic text Charaka Samhiti claims that oil pulling can cure about 30 diseases (Source).
This is almost unbelievable but it is true. We are happy that we provide Cocopull which is the best option for oil pulling as it comes in daily packets which are great on the go.
